Yes, we realize we haven't posted anything since MAY!!! It's now September and we sincerely apologize for our tardiness. During that hiatus, we've been really busy renovating our basement and just catching up on family life. We've also done some photoshoots here and there as well but I (that's me, Nia, being the administrator) have been very M.I.A. and haven't updated much with the new photo sessions of our beautiful clients. Well, I can't take all the blame, the hubby (photographer) is a little big behind in submitting the entries to me to post! But now that I'm almost a pro being a mom of 2 little girls, I think I can handle this job again ;) So stay tuned!

Mommy to be Elif

One of our few maternity photo sessions back in May. We were so honoured to photograph this beautiful Mommy to be, baby bump and Daddy to be. Such a cute couple and amazing parents to be! And just an update, their baby girl arrived already since I waited so long to post these beautiful pictures! LOL. Thanks to Elif and her husband Johnny for being so patient with us as we are still learning how to shoot maternity photos. We are so happy with how these photos turned out. It was hard to choose which ones we wanted to post on the blog!

Wow, it has been a long time since our last post! On the home front, we've been busy as ever. Basement reno is in full swing, drywall should be done this week, thank goodness! Since the slow photography season is upon us, I have been enrolling in some photography courses to keep up with the times. Here's a shot I'd like to share of some eggs and spilled milk from one of the projects we did in class.

We've been busy indeed. Busy with this little one. Busy with preparing for our new addition coming in April. Busy with our full time jobs and busy with finishing our basement. This explains for the lack of posts. With the nicer weather and wedding season coming up, we'll definately be keeping up with our photo business so keep coming back! Thanks again for all your support. Enjoy this nice Spring weather!

Seems like the longest winter ever and it's only the end of February. Sorry for the lack of posts, we've been really busy with just about everything besides photoshoots. January to March are our slow months so we're taking it easy and working on our house projects and getting ready for baby #2! We're due April 30th and can't wait to introduce you to the new addition to the Modern Settings Photography crew.
